For me, I am a different gal in a work/business setting compared to when I am home. I don’t mean I morph into two different people, but regarding my ability to think sharply, organize, and be productive. I even speak differently too, but that doesn’t have anything to do with this post. At work I am just “on it” and even in many cases, too much on it. At home, not so much in that all my tasks are bobbing around in my head. Many people agree with me that they too (women typically) share these two sides. Sometimes their partner doesn’t care, whereas with Daniel, he cares because it affects him and the function of our household. He is curious and “begs” me to bring my work side home because he needs me to improve in certain areas. After not delivering on his request for a long time, I finally decided it was time to organize my life. And what I mean is by organizing my thoughts into lists that I can utilize daily to be productive. The traditional paper-pen approach wasn’t cutting it. Also, I need to be able to communicate my lists with Daniel and call upon him to help me where need me. Thankfully there was an answer for this: https://trello.com/. This organization app is the beginning to this endeavor of mine, and hopefully, peace within our household when it comes to communicating about tasks to be completed. It also serves to let each other know what we’re working on when we don’t have the chance to share it with one another.
If you have this issue too, I encourage you to check it out! So far, I love it!
